🏡 Private yards only
Standard bookings are for private residential events only. If your event isn't a private backyard rental, please contact K&E before booking so we can review whether it's a fit.
📐 What we need at the site
- Flat grass area at least 5 ft larger than the unit
- Power outlet within 100 ft (we bring cords)
- Gate access at least 44″ (3.5 ft) wide
- Water source within 100 ft for water units
🚧 Underground utilities
Either have Ontario One Call mark your lines (free), or confirm you have no buried utilities in the staking area. Tell them stakes go 12 to 28 inches deep.
🛡️ Safety basics
- Adult supervision required at all times
- No shoes, food, drinks, or face paint on the unit
- Customer is responsible for damage & missing equipment
☂ Weather policy — flexible & fair
We shut down at sustained winds 20 mph (32 km/h) or higher, during thunderstorms with lightning within 10 mi, or in temperatures over 95°F (35°C). Light rain alone isn't a cancellation reason.
If we cancel for weather/safety before setup: reschedule to an available date or a refund of the amounts you've paid — no cancellation fee. Weather calls are made by K&E.
If you cancel: 7+ days = full deposit refund · 3–6 days = deposit non-refundable · under 72 hrs = 50% of total · under 24 hrs / same day = full rental amount.
FAQ
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes — a $50 deposit per inflatable starts your booking (so $50 for one, $100 for two, and so on). You'll be sent straight to a secure card-payment page right after you submit. The remaining balance is due on delivery (cash, e-transfer, or card). If the booking is cancelled because of weather, the deposit is refunded.
What if it rains?
Weather-flexible. If the forecast is bad, we reach out the day before to reschedule or cancel — no charge.
How long is the rental?
All-day rental. Our standard delivery window is 8:00–11:00 AM — that's when we aim to drop off and set up. Pickup is typically late afternoon to early evening. If you need a specific arrival time (e.g. before a 10 AM party), tell us in the booking notes and we'll do our best to match it.
Can I keep it overnight?
Sometimes yes — there's an overnight option on the booking form. We'll review and approve based on the location and weather. Overnight rentals carry extra responsibility (turn the unit off when unsupervised, protect from weather/theft).
Do you set it up?
Yes — included. Setup takes about 20-30 min and we'll do the safety walk-through with you.
What payment methods?
Your deposit ($50 per inflatable) is paid by card through our secure online checkout when you book. The remaining balance can be paid by card, cash, or e-transfer on delivery if arranged. A card is always required on file to complete the booking.
Do I need a credit card to book?
Yes. A card is required through our secure online checkout to complete the booking. This helps secure the rental and keeps a payment method on file for the booking and for possible damage, missing equipment, or extra cleaning charges under the rental agreement.
Can I pay the remaining balance by cash or e-transfer?
Yes, if arranged. You can pay the remaining balance by cash or e-transfer, but the booking still requires a card through the secure online checkout. E-transfers can be sent to keinflatables@gmail.com and are marked paid once confirmed by K&E Inflatables — until then the balance shows as still owing.
Why do you need a card if I'm paying cash?
A card is required for the booking and may be used for approved additional charges such as damages, missing equipment, extra cleaning, or other charges covered under the rental agreement. You can still pay your balance by cash or e-transfer if arranged.
Can I give my card over the phone?
No. For security, we do not take card numbers over the phone or through online chat. Card payments must be completed through the secure website checkout.
Can I get a cash discount?
Special pricing or cash-discount requests need to be discussed with a real person — just ask and we'll connect you with the K&E Inflatables Team. All rentals still follow proper business payment and tax rules.
Do I still have to pay tax if I pay cash?
Yes. The payment method does not remove applicable taxes (HST) — taxes apply no matter how you pay. If you have a pricing question, we can connect you with a real person.
What happens if there is damage or extra cleaning needed?
Renters agree to the rental agreement, which covers approved charges for things like damage, missing equipment, or extra cleaning. If a valid charge applies, we'll go over it with you; the card on file (entered through secure checkout) may be used for approved charges under that agreement.
