Safety First

Weather Policy

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. We closely monitor weather conditions; our policies are flexible and fair.

1. Safety first — we may delay, cancel, remove equipment, or reschedule if:

  • Heavy rain, thunderstorms, or lightning (including lightning within ~10 mi / 16 km of your event)
  • High winds: sustained gusts over 20 mph (32 km/h)
  • Unsafe ground or standing water, or any other condition K&E determines unsafe
  • Extreme heat: temperatures above 95°F (35°C)

Light rain alone is not always a cancellation reason. Heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, unsafe ground, standing water, or any condition K&E Inflatables determines unsafe may result in delay, cancellation, removal, or rescheduling. Inflatables cannot be used during high winds, thunder, lightning, heavy rain, or any other unsafe conditions — K&E Inflatables has the final decision on whether it is safe to set up and to use the inflatable.

2. Weather monitoring & communication

  • 24-48 hours before your event: we'll reach out if unsafe weather is expected and discuss options.
  • Final decision by 8:00 AM on event day: we'll confirm whether we can proceed or need to adjust plans.
  • Weather alerts: We monitor weather leading up to your event. If unsafe conditions are expected, we may contact you by phone, email, or text. If SMS alerts are enabled and working, text updates may be sent automatically.

3. If K&E cancels for weather or safety

Weather and safety cancellations are decided by K&E. If we determine conditions are unsafe before delivery or setup, you choose:

  • Reschedule to an available date — your deposit transfers, or
  • A refund of the amounts you've paid — no cancellation fee.

If unsafe weather starts after setup, you must stop using the inflatable immediately — get everyone off and keep it clear until it's safe again. Once setup has begun, the rental is active; if weather changes after that point, refunds may not be issued. We may also pause, delay, remove equipment, or stop operation if conditions become unsafe.

4. If you want to cancel over the forecast

If you're worried about the forecast before we've made our weather call, ask to use your one courtesy reschedule (subject to availability and approval) — your deposit transfers. If you'd rather cancel, the regular cancellation policy applies: 7+ days = full deposit refund · 3–6 days = deposit non-refundable · under 72 hrs = 50% of total · under 24 hrs / same day = full rental amount. Forecasts change often, and many events still go ahead safely.
